Job Overview

Ensuring the delivery of safe and quality patient care. Perform, adapt and safely demonstrate procedures required by patients according to policies and procedures. Administers medications accurately and safely. Documents according to policies and procedures perform, demonstrate and document technical skills specific to the nursing unit.

Qualifications

Required:

• ASN or Nursing diploma (If candidate possesses ASN or Nursing diploma, must agree to complete BSN within five years of hire date)
• 1 year of acute care experience

Preferred

• BSN preferred
• 1-2 years nursing experience, Telemetry preferred

Certifications And Licenses Required

• AHA BLS required and ACLS preferred, if candidate does not possess will be required within 6 months of hire
• Current New Jersey RN license

Scheduling Requirements

• Position is day shift, 36 hour per week
• Alternating Weekends and holiday rotation
