Treestar is a recreational cannabis dispensary with a primary focus on tailoring highly positive and memorable cannabis experiences for each customer. We are currently seeking applicants with strong-to-excellent knowledge of cannabis products, dispensary operations for this Supervisor position.

• Wage: Listed wages reflect the starting pay range and depends on experience, (potential for performance based wage increases every 6 months).

Overview :

The Dispensary Supervisor plays an essential role in supporting and overseeing daily operations at Treestar while maintaining open communication with the Admin team. To be effective in this fast-paced retail environment, Supervisors must have strong organizational skills, critical thinking/problem solving skills, tech skills, communication/interpersonal skills, attention to detail, reliability, and leadership abilities.

Job Summary :

The Dispensary Supervisor:

• Ensures that all transactions and the implementation of other retail processes comply with state and local laws and regulations and that service exceeds customer expectations.
• Ensures a superior customer experience by proactively seeking to analyze and improve customer service.
• Advocates for the company to enhance known and seek new methods of profit maximization. The Dispensary Supervisor reports to the Dispensary Manager as well as the Executive Management Team.
• Trains, provides policy and procedure updates, and remains updated with industry news and product information.

JOB SCOPE

Treestar Supervisors are responsible for providing a strong leadership presence, overseeing daily operations while upholding company standards, communicating with the Admin team, and management and training of dispensary staff.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Ensures accuracy and compliance in all transactions;
• Performs the required duties to record all sales and inventory transactions in accordance with state and local laws and regulations;
• Remains informed and knowledgeable about state and local laws, regulations and industry news;
• Maintains established standards of presentation, customer service, and compliance;
• Prioritizes and effectively delegates tasks to Budtenders;
• Participates in the training, development and success of employees;
• Coordinates with the Dispensary Manager to ensure all employees have accurate, up-to-date knowledge and materials related to their position;
• Coordinates with the intake department to ensure effective sale of product;
• Communicates the details of daily operations to the Dispensary Manager and Executive Management;
• Coordinates with executive management to ensure accurate information is communicated to dispensary staff and customers;
• Remains up to date with and responds promptly to internal communications;
• Assists with procedures related to opening and closing of the retail store;
• Accurate data entry and record keeping;
• Maintains a compliant, clean, and organized facility;
• Additional duties and responsibilities as requested.

Requirements and Qualifications :

• OLCC Marijuana Worker’s Permit;
• Ability to manage a team of staff members business hours in a fast paced, heavily regulated environment;
• Experience in management;
• Experience in cannabis;
• Experience working in a heavily regulated industry preferred;
• Associates Degree or greater preferred;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Proficient computing skills;
• Proficiency in Windows based software and point of sale applications.
• Innate desire to achieve success and a work ethic to match;
• High level of integrity, reliable and trustworthy;
• Maintain reliable transportation;
• Ability to work at least 36 hours/week;
• Ability to pass a criminal background check;
• Basic IT skills;
• Ability to make business decisions as necessary with oversight when needed.
• Be self-motivated and with an excellent sense of time management;
• Ability to exercise timeliness and adherence to schedule provided;
• Ability to exercise flexibility;
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects;
• Ability for professional and friendly communication with coworkers, management, suppliers, customers, and regulatory/government agencies;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements :

• The Dispensary Supervisor regularly works evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of our retail setting;
• Successful performance of this role requires that the incumbent is physically able to move freely between different parts of the store, lift up to 30 pounds;
• Spend several hours a day viewing a computer screen.
