Responsibilities Ascension Technologies is hiring a Clinical Informatics Manager to join our Wisconsin team in the Milwaukee/Racine region. We are looking for a self-motivated, team focused leader that can create a plan of work and follow it through to completion while working collaboratively with Ascension Technologies and our clinical partners. This person is adaptable, has strong collaboration skills, able to influence others, presents with positivity, and is well spoken. This person will help elevate the role of Clinical Informatics by being an innovative leader, leading a team of high functioning clinical informatics to achieve Ascension's strategic initiatives. This candidate must also be a team leader able to mentor, coach, and support a team. Collaborates on identification, analysis, prioritization, design, testing and implementation of electronic medical record clinical applications and to determine the decision support needs of clinicians. Develops and coordinates training programs for new and existing nursing, physicians and clinical staff. Develops and maintains training materials and end user documentation. Develops and maintains support plan for system training related issues for clinical staff. Recruits, trains and maintains super user group for system support. Acts as functional lead for oversight committee and related governance organizations. Coordinates meetings and support activities. Can establish trust and build strong relationships with clinicians, leadership and partners Able to communicate with various levels of users within the organization Writes clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles while tailoring the messaging based on audience Can probe the problem using analysis and active listening Ability to assess a person's workflow or process and replicate Ability to document clearly and consisely for communications and workflows Willing and able to learn new EHR and technology applications and workflows Ability to identify and document a problem that displays the importance and relevance for the health system Facilitates resolution of issues through creative solutioning, open exchange of information and viewpoints and influence Embraces change and is not limited to past or current thinking; willing to try new methods Does not equate busy with effective and places a higher value on initiatives with potential for a greater impact and return Requirements Education: High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
